Spanish Organik
is the culmination of an eight-year partnership, created by Cristina Gimenez, a native from Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, and her Australian partner Damien Lipp, from Melbourne. Together they have combined their passion for the very best organic food and wine by sourcing only the finest produce direct from producers. In bringing them to Australia they have fulfilled their goal of sharing these excellent products with the Australian market.
Our products have been meticulously selected direct from the source to suit the sophisticated and varied tastes of Australian palates. Created using time honoured methods and adhering to strict EU organic production guidelines, enforced by the CCPAE*, ensures the best and purest product for your enjoyment.
The product ranges represented are a combination of the best quality with the best presentation of Spanish organic food and wine products. The current range includes:
- Unique certified organic arbequina extra virgin olive oil and associated olive products, produced by award winning producer Olicatessen from the renowned Garrigues region of Catalonia.
- Exceptional certified organic red, white and sparkling (cava) wines from the pioneers of organic wine production Albet i Noya from the Penedès and Priorat regions of denomination of Catalonia.
- Distinctive hand written labels adorn the special organic white wines produced by L’Olivera, located in the remote region of Vallbona de les Monges, Costers del Segre denomination of Catalonia.
